Gifting Boss Bunnies NFTs to the Community
As the creators of Boss Bunnies NFT, we’ve always had high aspirations for the project, however the idea of gifting Boss Bunnies to the people and ultimately serve a higher purpose came to us during the QA process.
Firstly, yes, we had a QA process because we wanted to make sure that each and every single one of the 10,001 bunnies looked top notch for the community that was already very excited for them. But as we were looking through each of those bunnies, the thought of “what if someone really wanted a Boss Bunnies NFT, but just couldn’t afford one?” crept up. We’ve always said that Boss Bunnies NFT is a family friendly project that’s here to spread joy and we quickly realized that pricing was going to be a barrier for some members of the community. Thus with much consideration, we’ve decided to gift Boss Bunnies so that anyone who wanted one could get one. This doesn’t mean that we’re done with the project, in fact by doing this, we are opening up a whole new world of possibilities in where the Boss Bunnies ecosystem can go, and we can’t wait to share it with you!
For those of us interested in the details, here’s how it’s going to work:
· Minting — Minting will be free, exactly 0 ETH, just pay gas fees.
· Max Mint — We’re setting max mint to 1 per wallet because we want to do our best in ensuring that everyone who wants a bunny can get one. If you want to collect more Boss Bunnies NFTs, there’s no limit as to how many you can trade through the secondary market.
· Minting Date — Public Mint will remain the same: Feb 11, 2022 20:00 UTC
· Pre-Mint — For those of you who were the lucky winners of WL spots, congratulations! We’re planning our Pre-Mint for WL holders 1 day before the public mint (time TBA) which means you’re guaranteed a free mint before anyone else.
· More WL Spots? — You bet. We’re planning more WL spot giveaways in the next couple of weeks so be sure to keep your eye out and enter for those! We also want to reward those who are active drivers in the Boss Bunnies Community so we’re rolling out a new way for you to earn a WL spot in our discord! Check out the #get-on-whitelist section of our discord page.
· Royalties — Royalties are set at 10% which means we will take 10% of the sale price on any Boss Bunnies NFTs traded on the secondary market. Here’s how that royalty will be used:
· 20% will be going to the Boss Bunnies Treasury to fund the future development of the Boss Bunnies ecosystem
· 10% will be donated to support those in need through local charities with global efforts
· The remaining will be going to the Boss Bunnies team to cover costs incurred for the creation and development of Boss Bunnies NFT Gen 1
The future of Boss Bunnies NFT (dependent on treasury funds for development):
Boss Bunnies NFT tokens will be a utility token that grant holders exclusive access to deciding the use of the Boss Bunnies Treasury and direction of the Boss Bunnies ecosystem. A few items we are already thinking of include:
· $BOSSVIBES Currency — Depending on the rarity level, your Boss Bunnies NFT will exude 1–5 $BOSSVIBES per day. These $BOSSVIBES will grant token holders exclusive access and rewards in the Boss Bunnies ecosystem.
· Gen 2 and Breeding — If you hold a Boss Bunnies Gen 1 token when our Gen 2 drops, you may be in for a surprise! Did someone say mini bunny?
More ideas on the development of the future of Boss Bunnies will be shared and taken to vote through Snapshot so that token holders can decide what happens next!
Finally, Boss Bunnies NFT has truly been a labour of love and we are so thankful for the support we’ve received from our community members, collaboration partners, and our friends in the NFT space. While the decision to do free mints was not one we take lightly, it was a decision we came to very naturally. At the end of the day, we just want to share this amazing artwork with everyone, and work together to create something that will last forever on the blockchain.
